• Clean Air Act Services

The Clean Air Act is a federal law enacted by the United States Congress to control air pollution on a national level, and is listed under 42 U.S.C. § 7401. Air permitting, New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS), Greenhouse Gas, etc. are regulations under the law. We can assist with all of the regulations including permitting, source testing, air pollution control design and installation, dispersion modeling, greenhouse gas reporting, among other requirements.

  • Haz Com
    & GHS

Employers are required by December 1, 2013 to train workers on the changes to Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200 to align with the provisions of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (new labelling elements and safety data sheet format).  The primary benefit of the GHS is to increase the quality and consistency of information provided to workers, employers and chemical users.   Great Lakes can help you meet these new GHS requirements.

  • Construction Safety

We offer a broad range of services from comprehensive site inspections to long & short term construction project safety presence.  Whether it involves fall protection, scaffolding, trenching, company or site-specific health & safety programs, safety oversight, work zone safety, support for safety committees, OSHA 10 & 30 Hour training, client/OSHA liaison, contaminated soil sampling or air, environmental, & noise monitoring, Great Lakes can help you achieve OSHA compliance and - most importantly - maintain safety on the job.
