    The Clean Air Act is a federal law enacted by the United States Congress to control air pollution on a national level, and is listed under 42 U.S.C. § 7401. Air permitting, New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS), Greenhouse Gas, etc. are regulations under the law. We can assist with all of the regulations including permitting, source testing, air pollution control design and installation, dispersion modeling, greenhouse gas reporting, among other requirements.

  • Hazard Communication

    OSHA is modifying the current Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200 to align with the provisions of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. The primary benefit of the GHS is to increase the quality and consistency of information provided to workers, employers and chemical users by adopting an internationally, standardized approach to hazard classification, labels and safety data.  Great Lakes can help you move towards meeting the new GHS requirements.
